You know the old saying, “You can choose your Friends but you can’t choose your Family”.  These 10 Super Bands (in no particular order) have members that chose to work next to their relatives day in and day out.  A few of them on the list still are.  Some of us consider close friends our family as much as we consider our kin our family.  I have many a musician friend that see their bandmates as family too. On the road, they travel, eat, sleep and perform with each other constantly.  Maybe it’s easier with someone you know almost as well as you know yourself.  The weird little quirks and annoying habits you learn about someone when you go on the road with them, would already be known by family.  No surprises there….. But as with any family, there are disagreements (if not, all out fights) with both professional and personal undertones.  And then there are the tears and heartache that go along with the fame, fortune and failure.  And of course, the ultimate clashing of egos is bound to happen at some point…but all in all these bands made it to the top with each other. What do you think? Blood or not, could you handle working with “the Fam” everyday? Do you? Tell us about it!
